It have been awhile I reading this thread and haven't post anything since.

The truth is that I don't care about the Southeast USA States or the flag, I am going to worry about my own location, the West Coast or Pacific NW if you want to be specific.

It's not illegal to show Confederate here, but for school yes it's against rules.

As you probably know that my high school were against the Confederate symbols but the bunch of rednecks and cowboys wear the confederate symbols on my school's campus, the teachers and principals doesn't look seem care about it.

Yeah maybe some schools are easy with it, most are strict. Anyone know how long has the ban took effect since? I'm not sure if it was a big deal in the 90's and before the school violence spiked.

Not at my high school, also not in other high school in southeast states that I went during half of my senior year.
