Which cities in US that has largest deaf communties?

You got me all excited for a minute there. My parents moved to Fort Worth earlier this year and I've been playing around with the idea of following them. Not that I know enough ASL yet to have an actual conversation, but still.

There is a Happy Hour that meets in FW once a month. They are not very welcoming though. Austin is much better.

It's been a long time but I lived there back in 1998-2001. I met TWO Deaf people... and they were together... and were actually tourists from Europe somewhere. I could not understand them very well as they signed in a different language.

They have some older folks that get together and bowl at the Orleans hotel once a month. I went once but I knew nobody. I loved living in Las Vegas very much but I also missed my friends.
