Whatcha doing for the long weekend?

I just signed up to play for a woman's softball team that has some deaf players. Will be playing my first game this Sunday. What are you doing this weekend?
 
I feel sad that my girlfriend didn't have time for me this weekend. She said next weekend, not this weekend. I went off on her about how she didn't have time for me on Memorial Day weekend. She is no longer interested in next weekend.

So therefore, try to not put too much stock in Memorial Day weekend.

I guess I'll try look for someone else, do some flea market shopping, and spend time with my Rottweiler. Also clean up my house and act.
 
1) Clean up the deck at the back of my house on Saturday morning.
2) Have a BBQ on Saturday afternoon.
3) Go canoeing in Elk River on Sunday.
4) Relax and maybe do some catch up work on Monday.
 
Probably sit here on my sofa sneezing and coughing and hoping one of you says something interesting. :hmm:

I guess I could read a couple of books too.

Nothing planned...just a regular weekend for me with an extra day.
 
Attending my nephew's high school graduation on Sunday, cook out and Championship of the World croquet tournament with family on Monday.:giggle:

I haven't played croquet in years!! LOL I love sending balls off!! :giggle:

Ah cool. U might know my friend who coaches your softball team. :) PM me please.

Tonight, I will stay home and watch Boston Bruins-Tampa Lightnings hockey game on my new HDTV.

I will go to the Ottawa MayFest and watch UFC 131 with my friends at my home tomorrow.
 
Tonight Hubby and I are participating in a PGR Flag line of respect for visitation time for a fallen hero.

Tomorrow, Hubby works, and I will do yard and garden work.

Sunday, we go to church, and attend a high school graduation celebration for our neighbors' son.

Monday, I work all day, and Hubby will be attending the fallen hero's funeral with the PGR Flag line, and motorcycle escort to the cemetery.
 
Meet up with Sheila tonite. Atlantic City tomorrow. Sun & Mon... no idea. probably shooting range.

On Saturday we are going to a cruise car parade in downtown. We will walk there from our home. Sunday and Monday dont know yet.

It can get vicious when my family plays! We do double elimination and the whole bit! It is a $1.00 buy in, and winner takes all!
 
(in Phx, AZ) Going to my aunt's house to go swimming and then hang out with my mom tonight to watch the college fast-pitching tourney

Sat, my mom is taking my daughter and I to one of the waterparks around here

Sunday, going to take my daughter's to my dad's

Monday, flying back home to MD
 
Deaf event tonight, then beach beach beach far away where it doesn't cost 12 dollars to enter, and then maybe NYC to meet up with Sheila.

That sounds like a lot of fun.. Perhaps I need go buy a good set. I am not sure where you can go and buy a good coquet set now a days. Be fun to teach the kids to play.. :giggle:

Sports store perhaps?

Believe it or not, the set we play with is one of the old wooden ones like I had as a kid. When my nephew and his wife bought their house, they found it in a storage shed on the property!

I don't think they make the wooden ones any more. But you should be able to find a good set in a sporting goods store. It really is a fun family game.

Last time we played, my 14 year old neice whipped all our old butts!:P
