Being a mom of 2 CODAs, I took them to a local neighborhood center and had them play with other children, getting them exposed to noises/music/arts etc. It would not hurt to look up local classes or play dates for your kids to get involved with.
There are many songs for children..my girls loved them. You can check them out at your library as they have tapes/DVDS for all ages.
But once they start preschool, they will pick up everything that they may have missed out earlier.
