Website to help deaf/hh people to find jobs

I saw that too and have it bookmarked.

Very small at the moment but looks promising- Hoping IT jobs will be added.

I somehow wonder about the validity of the job postings. For one thing I entered software keyword and location atlanta, georgia and saw a listing for a VP and a customer service rep. I'm all about equal opportunity but I don't know if you'd be a great customer service rep if all you can do is sign language. Ditto for VP.

Attached is a screencap, for some reason now I can't insert images directly.

I saw same or similar postings.. I think there must be an algorithm or something that pulls from other job sites or known deaf related business sites rather than the positions being posted directly to the site and they are also seemingly pulled based on key words like deaf as I think I saw a position for sales representatives or VRS interpreters (it's been a while since I looked there though).

I saw Indeed on the web page yesterday.

If you're in college, WRP will help you find a job/internship while in college or afterwards. There is also EntryPoint! I got an internship with NASA thru it. It's more of Federal jobs. EntryPoint is only for STEM while WRP is for everyone. WRP: https://wrp.gov/LoginPre.do?method=login

i saw the website in many years ago.. I hope its updated... i didn't bother to surf it because i have a good job for many years.

I see that this website is not updated, the last 1 month. Any other website where deafies/hoh can look for jobs?

Years ago, was there a website called deafjobs? I guess it failed.

www.GettingHired.com and www.Bender.com

Both are more generalized and geared to all disabilities including deafness. The first one is a job board site. The second one is a consulting company that exclusively works with disabled people and also holds virtual job fairs twice a year online. I've worked with Bender for at least a year but not having a lot of luck :/

Don't mean to highjack this thread, but One to One Support Services, based in Chesterfield are a really good company that specialise in jobs and care for all types of disabilities
