Two extra days to tax deadline :P

Hmm...that's interesting. Extra couple of days this year... I remember when I was growing up and my dad did his own taxes. And I would ride with him to the post office the night of the 15th, and there would be postal workers out at curb, with mail bags to drop your taxes in, and they would then all be postmarked the 15th (HA! Lots of overtime for the postal workers!). My dad said if the feds and state had to take his money, they could damn well wait 'til the last day for him to mail it! LOL! :P

We filed & got our refunds already, as we had $$$ coming back. Otherwise, I'd be following my dad's example.

Yeah, a lot of people wait until the last minute...as for myself, I'd rather get it done and over with in plenty of time, than having to fight the crowds and traffic rushing to get them mailed off.

Here in Canada one doesn't have to file their tax return till April 30,2012.
A few days yet.
