Tornadoes touch down, wreak havoc in southern louisiana

Recently dealt with floods, now this! My neighborhood in far eastern New Orleans narrowly missed a tornado, luckily stayed on the bayou leading to the lake. Just got power restored but messy. The area is under a state of emergency and a curfew patrolled by the National Guard and a Coast Guard unit. Definitely taking the week off work to avoid run-ins with the chaos out there. Wish us luck!

Mother nature is whacking all over with the weather. In South Bay, a mudslide shut down highway to Santa Cruz indefinitely.
