I’m not sure where to post this question but I have constant tinnitus (and have since I was a baby) and recently I’ve been getting random bits of dizziness while my tinnitus is louder so I’m wondering if tinnitus can cause dizziness? I’ve never heard of it doing that unless you have Ménière’s disease (which I don’t think that’s it because I don’t believe I have any other of the symptoms.)

If you g9t it, what is the world for?

I had dizziness a lot too...caused by inner ear infection(s)…(not saying this could be the reason for yours)...have you had your ear wax removed lately?...every 3-6 months...sometimes it accumulates and get impacted...Know it's scary whenever you get dizzy, once when I was driving...I found laying down if possible for a few minutes did help...other times when I couldn't, fingertips to the temple and apply a little pressure.....Best to see your ENT specialist....After numerous surgeries on both ears, I don't suffer from the dizziness anymore...knock on wood

Thanks! Laying down makes it so much worse so I just try and sit as still as possible until it passes.

If I have severe ear infection, I get ringing and dizziness. If I turn my head the other way, my ear rings. It's annoying. I have white scar in my right ear. Thanks to infection. Tinnitus can also cause dizziness, but I urge you go see your ENT.
