Should i be learning asl/pse

hello,
I'm new here, but I'm not really sure if I should be here.
Well I am starting to learn signs and all. But I don't actually live in the states, I have though, and I don't know anyone who can sign ASL. I feel like I might not be respectful to the language of ASL and the culture behind it.

I would really like to know your thoughts on this topic.

I like English more than the language that is actually my first language, and there are more resources for ASL on the internet.

No, that's not what i meant. I TOTALY know that but i mean that i like learning in English more. Its also easier for me since i have been speaking it since i was in kindergarten and have been in american schools for more than half of my life.

You should just do what one you like, but look around and see what people around you use. That way you can have a signing buddy
