A suspected gunman is dead and nine others were injured Friday after a shooting at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in Florida, according to Sky News sources.

The shooter has been contained after a shooting allegedly took place between terminals 2 and 3 in the taxi area around 1 p.m. local time, WSVN reported.

Scenes broadcast on television showed evacuated passengers and airport workers on the tarmac of the runways.

This is awful! Foxnews was live interviewing someone on the scene when the police told everyone to get down again. The fear in the man's voice is horrendous. The poor man saw the shooter and victims. His wife tried to help one of the victims. They thought they were safe but then there was a scare of a second shooter!
 
We got scared at work, a co-worker flew to Miami. We all thought she might have landed in Ft. Lauderdale but hoping she went to the Miami airport . Good news , she landed yesterday. It scared us all .

Another co- worker text her but no reply. She might be away from her phone .
 
FBI not ruled this as terrorist attack. I think it is BS!
 
He went to the FBI claiming he was hearing voices while in Alaska.
 
yup... one of the stories below (2nd link) say he also thought the CIA was controlling him.

He 'had thought in his head related to ISIS..." No proven connection otherwise...and said that the CIA was controlling him.

He was actually born in New Jersey but moved to Puerto Rico when he was 2. He was living in Anchorage after he was discharged from the military.
