Which one you prefer to call? TDD or TTY?

Why or why not?

I like to called TDD (Telecommunication Device for the Deaf) is seem professional to me.

I do aware that TTY invent by deaf who create name TTY aka Teletype.

I always have called it TTY all of my life.
Professionally, I think companies prefer to call it TT (text-telephone) which makes it more sense for hearing ppl who do not understand what a TDD may mean.
