So that means 16 years old daughter is gonna to be preg. Then she lost her bright future for higher education and career. Guess what? 18 years old mtker is gonna to escape and move out of state or country....

First of all what kind of man is encouraging 16 year old unexperienced girl that should STAY IN SCHOOL, respect her parents, be taken care of by HER PARENTs etc to leave her family and go the hell knows where with him? how is he gonna support her and what kind of future is he providing for her??

Moreover, considering that he is still 18 himself what about HIS education, HIS prospects for future??,
what is he gonna do, work odd jobs supporting both of them, drink beer on weekends from his measly wages and after a time go look for another woman?
where the 16 y old will be then?

No matter how open the sexual talk from the parents, it MAY NOT prevent a 16 year old girl from getting pregnant with an 18 years old man.


And in that aspect Mookie is very toughtful! she is predicting possible future.


The parents might be at fault too but no man should remove 16 years old girl form her parents.

Come on, Angel. You already have your boys, and you do not have to worry about them in future. If you have a daughter, that would entirely different stories.

only if you would care your little percious princess, you easily assert in order to support the mother to request the RO against the legal young lad...

She could have call the police if her daug is younger and he is 18,

I am curious - just how many times did you heard of 16 years old boy being taken form parents by an 18 years old girl, and how many boys do you know being beaten and left with an infant?

Sure this does happen but it is rare, and again beyond Mookie's point.

no I am frustrated, just frustrated how often if not notoriously the point is being missed whatever is being discussed.

I dare say 8, 9 times out of 10 whatever is beign discussed- the main thing is forgotten as soon as the topic opens and anythign else is being debated.

If i say for example - "Is it OK for 16 years old deaf girl to have sex" you can BET it's gonna go like this:


Cheri- " well hearing girls have sex, too!"

Angel: " I agree with sis! and boys have sex at 16, too!"

TripLA- "I don't care for girls so shut up!"

Deaf Images-"Screw those audists and selfish people who want to oppress our proud deaf culture!"

It will likely reduce teen. preggies if the parents talk sexual openly with their children. That´s why the teenagers go wrong crowd and experiment their curiously in wrong way because their parents did not positive something to them.

That´s why I allow my children to watch sex and sex responsible etc... (I doesn´t mean sex porn. but sexual responsblies). See this link...

A bit :topic: here but I want to say something to this.

Liebling, that is not always true. I have a good friend who have taught so much to her daughter from the time she was in her pre teens about sex and unwanted pregnancies. She even bought her daughter a book to educate her about sex. Still her daughter, who is now 15 years old, got herself pregnant. My friend was such in a shock and very upset because she knew that she had discussed so much with her daughter about sex and unwanted pregnancies.

Yes I'm agree that it could be happened to few teenagers like this. It is also happened here in Germany as well but it is still low teen. preggies.
