Repair Second Hand Tires.

save money... or save your life.. which?

No good. Unsafe on the rough road even small rocks can penetrate the tiny ply layer of the craved tires. Buy new tires period.

process being used is called siping. I do that on tractor tires that needs extra traction on ice.

Ask The Highlander about it. Can repair or nothing.

Hate to tell and I won't recommend for that. The tread is too thinner for the road.

Check it out. This topic kind remind me of tire recaps that we use them a lot for trailer and tractor's drive tires only. NO STEERS allows. Recaps mean removed whole old tread off then installed the new tread on it.

Let pick tire's size is 295/75R22.5.

The brand new tire is around $350 and recapping tire is around $200.

Again, no recapping allows for non-commercial like Ford F-150, honda CR-V, etc.
