Renting to deaf people

Hello Everyone:
I live in Canada. My husband and I are interested in the opportunity to rent part of
our house to people with impaired hearing.
Neither of us has this condition, but we would like to help people
who are seeking accommodation and have encountered discrimination
due to their disability.
Please let us know where could we possibly advertise/ let people know.

That is wonderful! Does your area have deaf club? Post an ad on their bulletin board. Good luck!
 
If you are in Ontario, I believe there are quite a few deaf folks there.....
 
If you do rent to deaf people, be sure the residence has adequate safety accommodations.
 
Maybe offer to learn fingerspelling. That way, you can communicate directly with them.
 
could learn a little sign as well, it is easy it one puts their mind to it.
