It has been awhile since I use the AD forum. I figured that I might as well re-introduction myself.

So, the real scoop on me? I don't think there's much to tell. My name is Katie and I'm a 20 years old and a second year student at Gallaudet University. I'm majoring in Secondary Education with minor in Deaf Studies. I'm a New Jersey girl and I take into a pride in being a one. I guess this seems about it and I don't know what else to say.

Please do feel free to ask me anything and I won't bite. ;)
 
Welcome back! How's it going down there in Gally? I haven't gone there in a while, not that I would know anyone anyway since most of my old friends are probably not attending Gally anymore. Heh.

I was in Atlantic City with my girlfriend a few weeks ago, particularly at the Taj Mahal and its sorrounding areas. Very nice. :)
 
I'm attending to BCC for summer school to finishing up General Requirement courses so that way I can focus on my major. :)

You should check out the new casino, it's Bogtra (couldnt spell as of rite now, heh) it's near Trump Marine. It's beautiful.

I'm glad to see that you're doing well. Give my love to E for me.

Welcome back! It sounds like you're going to be 3rd year. You planning on visiting RIT for Brickfest next Spring?
 
It would be nice to be 3rd year. However, once my credits are transferred from BCC, my credits will be at sophomore standing and I wouldn't be Jr until spring.

I would love to go up to Rochester for Brickfest, but the ride is the issue and it has always been. Let's see how things goes first and I will be sure to let you know ahead of time. :)

I've been a member since Alex set this forum up. :) that's how long I've been around. Most of the time I'm a lurking since I've been busy with school. :)

I haven't transferring yet. I enrolled into Gallaudet right after I graduated from high school and I'm just going to community college to finishing up Gallaudet's general requirement courses so I can have my credits transferring from BCC to Gallaudet so that way I can focus on my major without have to worrying about finishing up general requirement courses that freshmen and sophomores have to do.

Hope things work out for you at Bergen Community College. I went there once, and Beth Pincus is a wonderful person. Tell her I said HELLO for me if you can, thanks. If I have a chance, maybe I'll visit BCC during the summer to see how everyone's doing.

Yea, the tall casino/hotel building covered with purple lights which you can see during the night -- Borgata. Elyse and I thought how pretty and attractive Borgata was, but since we had other plans we thought we'll check it out next time we head to Atlantic City. :thumb:

I know exactly how you feel. I'm currently a 5th year student at RIT. I haven't had a car for my entire stay here! :eek: That's one major reason why I've always missed Rockfest. :(

good idea finishing up all the general requirement :) Those classes can really eat up your time and money at gally. Good luck with your plans!

That sucks. :(

This year's rockfest was too surreal for me because of Vanilla Ice's apperance at Gallaudet.
