Post your gas prices Part II

Safeway price dropping to $2.76
Shell at $3.05
 
$2.15 per gallon when we went to get gas tonight. The Chevron station right across the
street price was up at $2.65. That is a pretty big difference. Chevron still had a lot of customers though.
 
Cheapest I see here locally is Safeway at $2.32.... to $2.79 at Shell.
 
$2.41 the other day at Costco three or four miles from us.

Why gas price is expensive in California and west coast?

It looks like they need new refineries.
 
OPEC said keep pumping, no change and there is too much oil out there ready to go with fewer buyers... so cheaper gas is coming and here to stay for a good while.
 
$2.15 at AM PM gas....right across the street Chevron$2.89.....hummmmm which one will I go to?
 
$2.09 here. Has been holding steady at that for about a week to 2 weeks now.

That's remind of 80s oil glut - it was $30 in 1985 to just $10 in 1986.

Not brilliant for oil shale industries - they need high oil price to be productive.

I support oil shale in US but most customers don't want to pay high gas price.
