Rhyme poem written by: Natalie

Sit and listen, while I tell
I cannot hear the church's bell
Far off in the temple ringing
Like a maiden, softly singing
A sad, lovely song

How do I go about explaining
The way I feel when it is raining?
I hear no raindrops while I play
The beating, drumming, kept at bay
By happy silent ears

I listen only with my heart
From my gift, I shall not part
My favorite time of day is night
Because my ears retain the right
To shut out the noise
