We are trying to mobilize here in Boston to make sure those who lost hearing
during the Boston bombing do not lose benefits.

It is unclear at the moment whether the new use of funds for, "services" will allow people to buy listening devices. If this change is adopted, they will not get money from the fund but rather services only.

What a shame that some people are trying to make fraudulent claims. That can potentially hurt those with legitimate claims.

I hope no one who needs the benefits will lose anything.

As bad as it is people now days will try to scam anyone or anything if they think they can get away with it and get some type of money or benefit. There were people trying to scam off 9-11 to get money and personal attention I heard about a guy impersonating an officer with the FDNY giving a speech somewhere about it down south till someone figured him out.
