Hello! I have made a previous thread and realized I forgot to introduce myself! I'm Kristina, a hearing parent of the cutest 5 year old deaf child, Josh. I am currently beginning a fight with his current school district to send him to MSD. Any advice or good points would be greatly appreciated! He is in a self contained classroom, using a CI, with the total communication approach currently and has been for 3 years. He has made little progress with speech, but continues to pick up and retain ASL, so I am wanting to try MSD as an option because right now, his lack of spoken english is resulting in him being delayed in other areas of school. Oh, and he HATES his CI.
