Nice bike, Is lane splitting legal where you are, As of the 1st of Feb its now legal where i live so no more lane splitting and having to keep your eyes open for cops
 
Lane splitting are legal in California, only in slow traffic.
 
Yes, one occurrence...on I-80 from Sac to Bay area encountered many 'wheeling' cycles doing at least 80mph on the lanes and in between.

Yeah, and where are CHP? Oh, they're sitting in Starbucks and chatting. I see highway cops don't take their jobs seriously in Bay Area.
 
Depending on time and day, you can see some patrols, and other times you almost never see one. There is some unmarked CHP that tricks the drivers in a way to catch them in the act.
