Medical student looking for looking for ways to make healthcare more accessible to those with hearing impairments

Hi everybody. I am a second year medical student at Edinburgh University and I am part of a project about languages and cultures. I chose to start learning BSL and I am asking members of the deaf community in the UK and other countries about their experiences with healthcare. I hope to use your answers to help think of ways to make healthcare easier to access for those with hearing impairments.
