As we are about to choose what vendor we would like for our baby's cochlear implants, I am wondering about differences between the vendors.
It will be Medel or Cochlear.
More specifically we are very interested in the sound processors ability to convey the source of the sound.
I have some earlier experience with devices that alter the sound a bit so that the user can locate the source of the sound without seeing it. Even distinguishing sounds in front from sounds behind.
Are there clear differences between the vendors when it comes to this specifically?
