Learning auslan

My name is Amy. I've just started learning Auslan. So far I know how to fingerspell through the alphabet. I know that the syntax is different to English but I'm not sure how exactly it differs yet.

I can say: Hi my name Amy. I'm learning sign. I'm slow learner.

So that's something at least!

Any other Auslan speakers out here in the big wide internet?
