Cease and Racist The Westboro Baptist Church are those wackos who picket military funerals because they believe soldiers are killed by God as punishment for the USA's tolerance of gay people, (and not, you know, because of all the bullets flying around.) Well, they were picketed themselves this week by an unlikely group, the Ku Klux Klan, who despite hating gays, blacks and Jews, don't like Westboro's "anti-troop" message. Thanks but no thanks, fellas

You know, it seems that the only time Westboro gets any attention is when someone else does a counter-protest. Have you ever seen Westboro's "protests"? There are usually like 4 people there. And they're all in the same family. Not really much of a spectacle.

Those guys show up around here at Arlington Cemetery every so often.

If people would stop counter-protesting them and just ignore them, they would never make the news.

The issue isn't with them making the news, it's that they try to be as rude and disruptive to the actual people they're "protesting" (most often at funerals).
