1) Don't promote the hate (the hate is strong word)
2) Don't judging on someone
3) Be care and loving (my mother's family is strongly religious and they are very loving)
4) Don't commit adultery
5) Abstain from sexual activities and behavior (it does applies to both of heterosexual and homosexual)
6) Don't divorce (except for domestic violence)
7) Don't drink alcoholic beverage
8) Don't watch porn video or read porn magazine

Not everyone follow the rules above.

There are a lot of hypocrites here.

And here you are judging people (calling them hypocrites). Do you also judge people if they drink alcohol?

I think a "true Christian" is one who treats everyone equally and with respect.

They are not my problem and it is not my type to judge on someone.

In my experience, most Christians here are hypocrites.

I know Jewish people that are hypocrites .

A Christian is a person (any person on earth) who acknowledges that he/she is a sinner and deserving of an eternity of hell. But by repenting (turning away from committing sin), and accepting the final sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross, that person can be saved from an eternity in hell. The blood of the sinless crucified Christ paid for that punishment.

At the moment that a sinner makes that decision, he or she also begins a life eternal that starts on earth and ends up in heaven. That's a promise that can't be broken.

While still on earth, the Christian is supposed to seek to become more like Jesus thru daily living using biblical principles and imitating His example.

Of course, while still in this corrupt world, Christians are still human beings with a natural tendency to sin. Only Jesus was perfect; people are not. Christians must seek forgiveness for their sins and turn away from them.

Christians are NOT given a free pass to commit sins just because they can be forgiven of them. Sin still has its consequences. God will deal with straying Christians in this life.

Church attendance, baptism or membership does not make a person a Christian. It's the individual's personal relationship with Jesus Christ that makes a person a Christian.

Yes, same goes with Islam too.

Thailand government (the king) is buddhist but death penalty is against buddhism.

Thailand doesn't have state religion anymore, also Cambodia has state religion - buddhism and they abolished the death penalty because it against their religion.

I'm Christian and I have nothing to against on Christianity, also I don't see myself as true Christian for some reason, also all religions have issues with hypocrites.

The Christianity isn't against on same-sex but they only against on sexual behavior - you have to abstain from sex, except for given a birth but I know that same-sex can't impregnate so they have to find someone to surrogate or adopt the child.

I won't date with someone who addicted to sex and I decided to abstain from sex for medical reason, rather than religious.

So Kim Davis is continuing to be a martyr and had her attorney continue to fight so all the homosexual couples won't get married by making up excuse saying that all the marriage licenses without her name on it is void.

-shaking my own head vigorously-

Why is this woman so desperate to force her beliefs down on everyone's throat? Unfortunately for her, she's in jail, so the marriage licenses can't be void anyway.

She's still a county clerk so she thinks she still has powers while she's in jail. She's A BIG FOOL, not a martyr. She will be impeached very soon as I predict.

Do you check about KY state legislature? The house is majority republican (conservative Christians) so it means impeachment isn't going to happening.

KY is part of bible belt region.

Just wait and see, alright?

Oh wow, you are basically clueless.

Impeachment require 2/3 from state legislature to get her removed from office.

I'm southerner, trust me, she will not going to be removed from office via impeachment.

KY is mostly conservative Christians and it is red state.

What you are telling me is that you are right? Can you wait and see as long as you have patience? In other words, she remains in jail for one year, then she's let go and she will go back to jail if she still refuses to issue marriage licensees to gay couples.

I am curious how many narrowed-minded people (of course including Christians and rednecks who are anti-gay) are in KY. I predict that those people will be losers in the future very soon. Don't you know?

I know about Kentucky very well and I have some families live there.

There is easy phrase for you - Kentucky is redneck state and it means Kim Davis will not removed via impeachment.

It is not hard to listen and you try to know about everything, but you don't.

She will be impeached because of the mass media. They would not want her in the system anymore.

"MOREHEAD — James Yates and William Smith Jr. paid $35.50 and filled out paperwork early Friday to become the first couple to get a marriage license in Rowan County since the U.S. Supreme Court legalized same-sex marriage June 26. More couples soon followed.

With Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis in jail on civil contempt charges for defying a judge's order to resume issuing licenses, deputy clerk Brian Mason ended the office's two-month license ban by politely serving Yates and Smith on Friday, even congratulating them and shaking their hands afterward.

Hours later, however, attorneys for Davis said the marriage licenses issued by her office Friday were void because only Davis has the authority to authorize a marriage license, and she refuses to do so.

"They are not being issued under the authority of the Rowan County clerk's office. They are not worth the paper that they are written on," said attorney Mat Staver after meeting with Davis in the Carter County jail in Grayson.

Rowan County Attorney Cecil Watkins previously dismissed that argument, saying deputy clerks can issue valid marriage licenses without their boss's approval

"U.S. District Judge David Bunning ordered Davis on Aug. 12 to resume issuing marriage licenses, saying that her personal religious objection to same-sex marriage did not supersede her public duty to issue marriage licenses. He jailed her for contempt Thursday because she refused to comply."

Just as I thought the woman does not a leg to stand on , she can't use her religious belief to refuse same sex marriage licenses . I would think the city would try to get her impeach b/c she could become a liability to them . She is violating people rights to get marry.

No surprise about you are totally clueless. :ugh3:

Kentucky is in BIBLE BELT and do you know about what is BIBLE BELT means?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kentucky_General_Assembly

Majority of KY politicians are CONSERVATIVE CHRISTIAN.

Impeachment isn't going to happen at all and it is IMPOSSIBLE.

You shouldn't discuss here because you lacked the thinking to understand the logical - you need to research and develop a thinking.

It means you think that South Carolina and Alabama will pass LGBT anti-discrimination law.

Only state legislature has authority to impeach with 2/3 vote.

Unfortunately, it is impossible.

I know and if she run again she win with no problem . I feel she is abusing her power as the city clerk , she might decide to run for a higher office next time.
