Harold Washington Library Orange, Pink, and Purple line stop:

It used to be called State/Van Buren, but the CTA changed it because of Harold Washinton Library, which is named after our only black mayor in office. He's still popular even today, despite his death in office a long time ago.

My train just bypassed the #58 City of New Orleans..... arriving on time (actually a little early).

Watching a BNSF train with some 40+ tanker cars head towards Chicago. Don't think they're stopping there, though.

Catching two Amtrak Dash 8's is extremely rare.

A LONG railroad crossing gate arm:

That is a WCH gate, the heaviest and toughest of their kind.

Enjoy your retirement, 2400 Series. It was a good run.

I've also seen #517 and #518 this month, as well.

Mark the train traveler and friend.

The last station.

Mark was a true trainman.

Mark likes the trains and show pictures of were he has been.

We will miss him.

We will remember Mark and look at his pictures and remember Mark.

Trainman will miss him.

He is with the Good Lord now .

Died in a fire.
