Well it looks like I am going to need new HA's. She gave me a choice of two, one being less expensive. Either the Exelia or the versata. I already have Bi cross aids so it is "only" going to cost me $2000 for the cheaper one. Unfortunitley they do not take payments, it's all or nothing. That means I am going to have to keep plugging away with the ones I have because there is no way we can stroke a check for $2000. Oh well, it didn't hurt to at least look into it.

Bummer!! Question? Can't you find another audi that allows payment plans? I admit, I didn't think of it when I got mine, but afterwards, when I went to an new ENT that was civilian, instead of military, I noticed that he dealt with phonak hearing aids and offered payment plans, and I was kicking myself for having put mine on my credit card. It's just a thought....:hmm:

Adam,

You might want to check with your local Lions Club as they have specific programs to help provide hearing aids to people who need them.

Good luck.
