Direct Support Professionals

Currently, we are seeking staff to work in a residential setting with clients who have MR/DD and who are also hearing impaired. As a Direct Service Professional, your duties may include assisting individuals with their personal care, daily routines, cooking, housework, transportation, and community recreation.
The qualifications for this position include: fluency in American Sign Language, strong knowledge of the deaf culture and familiarity with deaf community activities. We will provide you with training to become certified in CPR, First Aid, and medication administration. Enjoy 9 paid Holidays and a generous leave and benefit package.
Applicants must be at least 20 years old, have a valid driver’s license, auto insurance (liability), a clean driving record, own transportation, a clear criminal background and the ability to lift 50 pounds. Applicants must also have a H.S. diploma or GED, as well as the ability to read, write and communicate.
