Is this ASL translation on the right track?

Okay, I'm putting this out there for all of you to see. I just want to know if I'm on the right track with the ASL translation here...

Now, keep in mind the person who asked me to do this might be speaking the words as she signs them, so I have not done strict ASL grammar, but I've done more of a PSE. Also, I have changed a few of the words to find a sign that still fits. This is from the ending of the MJ song, "Will You Be There?".

I've only known ASL for 4 years, but I noticed there were no replies. So why not! This is how I would do it...




OUR DARK HOUR

I/MY TRUE SAD

YOU STILL/CONTINUE CARE?

STAY YOU?

MY PAIN

HARD TIME

OUR DOUBT

FRUSTRATION

MY ANGER

MY CONFUSION

MY FEAR

MY CONFESSION

EMOTION PHYSICAL PAIN (I would get rid of anguish just because it's pretty much the same as pain)

MY HAPPY (shift positions) MY SAD

PROMISE EVERYDAY or PROMISE ANOTHER DAY

ALLOW (use connection sign and detach thumb and index fingers) NEVER (the negation usually goes at the end)

FOREVER HEART IN (I would sign "in" over my heart)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~


That's just my interpretation of it, of course. It can mean different things to different people. Hope this helped. Feel free to message me if you ever need anymore help! :)

I'll be signing it. A friend asked me to record a video for her of how to sign this part of the song... she wants to use the words in her wedding vows. I just wanted to make sure I was doing it right. :O)
