here, this is a "white skeleton flower' not rare, fairly common in Hawaii...
I must check out see if i can get it here in New Zealand, but I'd doubt it would survive well (too cold?)..

its gorgeous, lacey kinda reminds me of wedding dresses...but look at it, it's quite a charmer right?

 
bottle brush and prostia(spelling way off)i saw them when in nz and south africa so would thought you could..to cold in uk.i saw some lovely flowers in nz,mind you south island bit cold but north island was hot and it was your winter.
is it true ferral penguins live in dunedin

My mother grew this in her yard. I don't remember exactly what she said it was. I have the label "bell" on the picture, so the name may have had the word bell in it.

I bought the seeds for these and planted, so hope they come up as they were expensive.
I couldn't resist as they are called "Blueberry Lime Jam"

That's a great name! The flowers look very peaceful to me, and I love the color contrast! They almost jump out of the screen at me, awesome-

and of course, I now have desire for blueberry pie....
