I am new here

Hi! I am new to this site and I wish you all well. I am HOH for many years now with severe loss in my right ear and almost deaf in my left. I wear hearing aids, but I find the benefit to be minimal. I still have a very difficult time understanding words whether it be from the television, radio or person. Music used to be my life, but I have almost given up listening to music anymore for that very reason. I just hear noise, it seems.

It is my hopes to meet new people and make friends here. I live in South Carolina, USA; am married with no children.

I am learning ASL and I find it fascinating.
