HOH - learning ASL. Wish I had learned years ago.

Hello, I am hoping to meet friends who were like me separated from others, unable to use the telephone.
I have limited Hearing but everyone thinks if I can hear I can use the phone and I’m ready to give up the phone for life as my hearing is diminishing.
I am afraid of growing old alone I’m trying to reach out now to make friends to communicate with.

Welcome. There's a lot of HoH people who wish they had been raised with ASL/ learned it earlier like myself @deafdyke and @peekaboo . (No one regrets learning it young like some hearing people here would lead you to believe thats for sure!)

If they think its so great, why not share it with other hearies , like someone who has down syndrome or someone who has a speech plm. JS
