Hi..I'm new to posting here. I am not deaf but I do have hearing loss. I use a wheelchair and have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome Type 3 which also causes hearing loss which was news to me.
Anyway I started learning ASL with my husband this past January and will be starting the Interpreter Training Program this August. I also got my first hearing aid in February. I work in the arts creating accessible theatre and dance performances in Raleigh. I have two cats China and Gemie.
So I guess that's my intro. Glad to have found this board and hope to learn lots here.
