hi i am a childrens book author. i am writing a really neat book about two "hearing" children, and they meet a deaf child, but don't deal with it very good. they end up in a world of silence,....... anyway , is there anyone out there that can give me some ideas of what it is like being deaf. I want to protray it correctly. i would appriciate any help! thanks!!
