Hello everyone,

I'm profoundly deaf since birth, I'm French and I'm 29 (soon). I live on an Island in the Indian Ocean.
I speak French fluently and I use French Sign Language, I know a bit of ASL.

Recently, I graduated in Web Design, so I'm looking for a job for a few months.
It's very hard to find a job here.

My hobbies are web designing and web developing of course.
And reading books, watching series TV on Netflix, drawing (a little) too...

Are there any web developers and web designer here?
And just a last question: Is there a Slack channel?

Hello there Feleya, It's nice to see a new fellow on there and I agree finding QUALITY work (especially online) is hard for people like us (since I am deaf/blind so I understand and been trying to deal with this myself). In the meantime/alternately had you considered getting clients yourself?

I been myself trying to "craft" my own work but there a "snag" with VistaPrint heading to a ditch and my mom is trying to find a new business to order from (since it's her account). Hopefully that can be done later today since it been over 11 days now with ZERO ordering processed. :(
 
Hello. Welcome! My mum is French but I don't speak much French I'm afraid.

What kind of books do you like to read? I like fantasy and teenage fiction. Particularly about people who are different in some way.

I wish you luck getting a job.
