Hello! My name is Liha. I’m 23 And I am Hearing. I’ve studied on the deaf culture for a while on and off since I was about 16 years old. I have decided over the last year that I want to be able to help the deaf community and learn sign language. I want to make friends and put smiles on peoples faces. It’s hard because I work fulll time and anytime I’ve studied I’d get side tracked after a while and forget some of the things I’ve learned after months of teaching myself. I was hoping I can meet some new people hearing or deaf that would like to help me learn how to sign and keep the language with me.
I want more than a teacher too. I want a friend. Hopefully someone out there would want to be by my side and help me through this.
