Got guts to run 200 over 55?

Damn those guys got balls enough to run over 180 to 200 mph on our highways!

Corvette 200 over 55 tix

Lamborghini Diablo 182 over 55

:jaw: :eek2: geez... i have no guts to do this.. but I did went tops 135 mph on 70 mph limit.. that's my fastest one experience... no more again :-X
and remmy most new cars have a small chip.. once you go over the limit of chip's mph.. like 110 mph.. the chip will make your car stalled, then you will have to repair it and it's expenive to repair it.. (this is what i heard from a friend, dunno if its true.. anyone know?)

What those blokes did was out of sheer stupidity because speed kills. Australia has those 'TAC' (Transport Accident Commission) Adverts on TV -- which tries to get people to 'wipe off 5' off the speed limits, which means...if the speed limit were 50kph -- please go at least 45kph...in a way, hoping to decrease traffic accident fatalities.

Reminds me of the time I went 140 mph in my convertible years ago!

Yeah those friggin' speed limiter chips!

I hit the chip's limiter at 110 over 70 on my ZX2 Escort. However it just stalled the car for just a second by cutting flow of fuel to the injectors once I hit 110. But it didnt break the car :X

I did also hit 110 in my '80 T-Bird but the 302 motor overheated its exhaust manifolds RED! I had to pull over to let it cool down then went my merry way to my destination and that was 14 years ago. (and the 302 had a 2-barrel carb instead of electronic shit u see in modern cars nowadays)

Whoa, that's really darn fast! I went between 110 and 115 mph on 55 mph zone highway with accord v6 once. It was exciting and nervous moment at the same time. The highway I rode on usually had a few cops but most of them were undercovers. Normally, there was no one on that highway at 3 in the morning!
If I got a sport car that can top 150 mph or more, I'd take a try ONCE.

Here the mughsot of the Diablo guy and his Lamborghini:

Yeah, those chips are annoying. My friend tried to go over 100 mph in his dad's BMW but the call stalled when he went over 90. Jeez!

LOL look at that pouty face. It showed how much he had fun speeding before he got pulled over.

yeah my Eagle Talon is supposed to have a chip that stops me from going over 130 but i've gotten up to around 140-145 mph before. Very fun! :fu:

Well yes and no on this chip thing - I drove my cousin's silverado all the time over the summer and of course I had the urge to try to beat the wind's speed  but sadly, the silverado has this special chip that stopped me at 97 mph instead of going up. It dont stall or shut down, it just slow itself down so bascially automobile with chips has its own mind. *GRR* There goes my speeding freedom :mad2:

haha those shitty chips...yeah i have heard of them fuckers....but i heard a different story...it went like this...the chips installed stops you from going to the car's limits suppose you have a ford mustang GT and it goes 150 mph...so when you reach 150mph you stop at around 145 to 148 mph and you cannot go more am i right? so in that case...the chips stop you from going more than 150...suppose there were none.......whoo baby you could flyyy :scatter: now...back to the story that was posted up above...i would say that the chips are installed in the newer cars....like years 2000 to years 2004 cars...or in expensive cars such as the mercedes or something around that area.....fuck them chips fuck them chips fuck them all to hell....(to make them go to hell...remove them and smash them with a sledge-hammer or run over it with your 500-grand, maxed-out car.)

:)

It's not that hard to spot an undercover cop car. Most of them are marked, I believe.

Let me set you all straight with the “small chip” thing.

That, my fucktard friends, is called “speed governor.” Learn it, memorize it, and use it correctly before you all go spouting out some erroneous information.

What it does is when you reach a certain speed limit set by the automaker’s factory settings in the ECU – to put it in simpler terms for you obtuse motorheads; it’s what controls the electronics, fuel, air, and few other important things that is considered detrimental to your motor – when it does reach the speed limit; it simply prevents you from going any faster than the intended settings on the ECU. I could be half-wrong on this piece, since there has been some changes in automobile technologies in the past half decade or so.

What you all are pretty much talking about what causes the fuel cut off – is what's called “rev limiter;” which cuts off the fuel to the motor. Ergo, it results by stalling your motor a bit; it’s like the car’s telling you, “Hey, motherfucker! Knock it off. Go easy on me.” That’s when you have to just let go of the gas pedal, but keep pressing the gas while the fuel is being cut off, you’re going to fuck it up pretty good. Otherwise, it’s not going to fry the ECU which forces you to buy a brand new ECU unit and a brand-spanking new motor if you’re that stupid enough. It’s quite the most essential thing for your motor, and it’s what you should be worried about instead of some paltry device called “speed governor.”

As for the removal of the chip and the legality issue; to both of you who said that, you’re half-right and half-wrong about it. The removal of the chip is just not possible at all. Because if you remove it, it’ll render the ECU obsolete and useless without its important data info on how to measure the speed and other important aspects. What you want to do is if you want to remove the “speed governor” is to just have your ECU reprogrammed, this is the more expensive method, mind you. It’s not totally legal, but it’s completely within legal limits if your sole purpose is to take it to the tracks. However, if you’re just removing it to go faster...well, that's not my problem, is it?

yeah same thing here... One time past in summer of 2000, my brother and I drove in his '92 Saturn Sedan and we drove in Utah on Hwy 6 going southeast toward I-70 to go back to Colorado, but on that Hwy 6, my brother and I pushed the gas pedal all the way to the floor it went up to 118 mph and the car didn't stalled but slow itself to 112-114 mph then it went back up again so we continue at 115 mph for like ten minutes around ten pm... fun driving wheeeeeee ;)

I sped from work to home at 11 pm at 80 MPH because I was tired. But the night undercover cop stopped me 10 blocks from my house. :fu2:
