Got a sign name

My friends finally decided on a sign name for me.
They asked me what I was doing for Christmas, and I wanted to say that I don't celebrate Christmas because I'm Jewish, but it came out "I don't celebrate Christmas, I'm Hannukah." So my name is HANNUKAH with H's. :P
On a less goofy note, I'm really thankful for the way the Deaf community online and in real life has embraced me. I grew up hating my hearing loss, but I'm slowly becoming much more comfortable. So thanks! :)
 
Thanks! This will be my first Hannukah away from home, and I have exactly 0 Jewish friends here. Oh well, I guess I'll be bribing some people to spend time with me with latkes!

I wish I had a sign name, but I haven't interacted with a deaf person to be assigned one. I will continue to wait for the day I have the confidence in ASL to seek out local deaf people. :)
