What is proper for a hetreo to do when they attend a gay event, bar, club, parade, etcl.......... cuz I have had many friends that support gay rights and marriage but afraid to be hit on or mistaken for gay........ is there a shirt that says I support (rainbow picture) even though I am straight (or the picture of gender circle with the plus sign).......How are straight people supposed to behaive??

simple say "I am gay friendly" "faghag" "non gay and friendly" ?? Just a thought

MizzDeaf is right -- if a gay person was hitting on the straight person then the straight person can just say politely like "im flattered, but im straight -- i find this (place name or whatever) really kewl and wanted to hang out here and i support the (name of cause/event if any)"

That's why I think that the rainbow shouldn't have been declared as a GLBT color... :(

I have friends who are mistaken as GLBT just because they are wearing rainbow-colored shirts, pants, bracelets, necklaces, etc.
