Future Social worker looking to connect with Deaf community

Hello i am hearing and are currently working on my bachelor degree in the SW field, i would love to connect with the Deaf community and learn about the culture. I am beginning to research about the Deaf community but would also like to learn from the memebers of this community as well. I read the treath about asking question and such, so i won't post any questions, but if any would like to share their experiences that will be greatly apreciated, also if there is anything that i should know or keep in mind that will help me since becoming a social worker.
