Free Antivirus

I would recommend Microsoft Security Essentials and MalwareBytes. Another option is to run Linux and you won't need antivirus :D

Yes, It's all depends on computer. I bet you have dual cores and more than 3GB of ram.

Norton is awful slow down a lot if someone use single core and less than 1GB of RAM.

I don't know about the dual cores. I'm unfamiliar with that. But I do have 4 GB RAM.

Do your computer's label looks like that?

No. It has the same "intel" on the top, but then right under, "Pentium" and "inside".

I say Microsoft Security Essentials 2.0 is best with Windows OS along each other no problem, light footprint.

Other free anti-virus are some good and some not effective.

Pay software is waste time, annoying pop-up pay fee after a year, etc...

If you like simple, light, quick, 64-bit, etc... that is Microsoft Security Essentials 2.0 make sense.

for small office or big business they do pay good brand for anti-virus for all around.

BTW, Best avoid Norton can give you lots of pain in azz, bog down on pc, etc..., check norton forum on google ;)
