Hello!
I am a hearing person from Jamaica. I've been considering making a YouTube video about Deaf representation in fantasy shows/books. I'd like to interview Deaf people about their thoughts on how Deaf people have been represented, especially in these shows:
1. Switched at Birth
2. The Dragon Prince
I also plan to discuss other, less well-known Deaf characters such as:
1. Gabriella from The Little Mermaid series
2. Riva from Star Trek: The Next Generation
3. Garth from The Heritage of Shannara
Of course, it is not my culture, so your input would be appreciated.
