Long story short we live in NJ and have 2 Deaf children. We have had to fight for everything in mainstream setting. My youngest had a lot of issues crying every day and not wanting to attend school. We asked for an evaluation to and they put it in as a reevaluation and declassified her, pulling away services including teaching her ASL's. We are currently looking for a bilingual program. We checked out Learning center for deaf in Massachusetts and MSD in Maryland. Are there any others?

First of all, SO GLAD that you're looking into Deaf Ed *waves hands excitely*
One good thing about Deaf ed, is that there are generally a significent amount albelit a minority of academic kids at most Deaf Schools. Also a lot of them do have strong potential to produce academic kids. I think it's just a matter of avoiding really bad programs. But of course if you're relocating, you want to move to a GOOD program, right?
What do their "needs" look like? Are you willing to move to other states? Have you looked into Marie Katzenbach (NJ School for the Deaf?) http://mksd.org/ I thought that NJ had a lot of Deaf ed options? http://www.nps.k12.nj.us/bru/ and http://www.mlschools.org/Domain/563
Here is a resource listing of NJ Deaf ed options! http://www.state.nj.us/education/specialed/deaf/deaf.pdf
American School for the Deaf would be an awesome option.....
Look into READS, which is a local deaf ed collbrative: http://www.readscollab.org/district/dhh-program
Western PA School for the Deaf would be good!

Texas School for the Deaf is turning into a school that people are MOVING for!!!! http://www.tsd.state.tx.us/
St Rita's School for the Deaf might be a really good option: http://www.srsdeaf.org/
Rocky Mountain Deaf School: http://www.rmds.co/
Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind http://www.fsdb.k12.fl.us/
Kansas School for the Deaf: http://www.ksdeaf.org/
The California Schools for the Deaf: http://www.csdr-cde.ca.gov/ and http://csdeagles.com/ All the above tend to be decent quality and offer a lot of potential.
Some schools I'm not sure about, but you might as well look into them, since they are local to you .....http://www.psd.org/, http://stl.ocephila.org/ (A Catholic School for the Deaf) Delaware School for the Deaf: http://www.dsdeaf.org/

My oldest is above grade level academically but she has always struggled socially. When we first started talking her first response you mean I wouldn't have to say what all the time? It was an eye opener for us. My youngest is struggling with reading but I believe it is because mainstream will not provide her with what she needs. She is in a reading group with 6 other children and the interpreter leaves her and will go help the other deaf child. I've heard Katz would not be a good fit, we have friends who go there and love it. But they believe my daughters were high functioning. We visited MSD and LOVED it, it was an awesome school, but it is in all ASL and the girls both said they did not like it. We visited Learning Center in Mass and loved it there also, girls liked that it was in ASL but also there was more voice too for them. So I guess we are just looking for some where to compare, so a good bilingual or the best bilingual program:)

So basicly a strong academic dhh program? How old are your kids? I'm thinking that American School for the Deaf would be a good one to look into..... Western PA School for the Deaf, Florida School for the Deaf and Blind would be good too. Maybe Kendall Demonstration and MSSD (even thou the DC area is really expensive) OH...... Indiana School for the Deaf might be a good choice.
Check out the schools I listed. It's hard to know about schools but on the other hand you would want a sizable number of kids for your kids to interact with right?
