There is a conference at Utah Valley State College...It is Deaf Studies today

Deaf Studies Today 2003 will be a three night, two day event held 12-14 Apri 2004 on the campus of Utah Valley State College (UVSC) in Orem, Utah. This inaugural assembly of Deaf Studies Today will be held the three days immediately prior to the 60th annual USA Deaf Basketball Tournament, which is also being held at UVSC (15-17 April 2004).

The next two days (april 13 and 14) will feature keynote addresses by Dr. Carol Padden, Dr. Harlan Lane, Dr. Douglas Baynton, and Dr. Benjamin Bahan. There will also be ten sessions of concurrent workshops over the two days. Tues evening will feature entertainment.

Wow - I wish I still lived in Utah. Lane, Padden, and Bahan are three people I've been wanting to see and meet for a long time. Have fun, kuifje.
