As a deaf person who communicate 100% on sign...when a hearing person ask me what sign for whatever and they tend to do it reverse of what I sign....when I am VPing now I pay attention to my signs and they are fine. It happened to many different hearing people it drives me nuts self doubting myself does other people have the same problem?

No but I can see why they do.. they're doing it "mirror image" like they are looking at a mirror so they end up doing it opposite as you. Or at least that's what I think you mean?

I remember an old friend of my aunt's was learning a bit of sign but when it came to finger spelling- he used to practice on his own (without a mirror apparently)... so when somebody fingerspelled he couldn't figure it out... unless he was looking at the BACK of the signer's hand. He only saw the back of his hand when he practiced lol. That was many many years ago back in the 1980s. If I recall he was deaf in one ear- I don't remember why- possibly a motorcycle accident.
