You need to go back and read the article. It DOES NOT say that his approval over health care has risen. It says that his overall approval rating has risen, and that since it occurred after the bill was sent through, it can be assumed that the bill passage had an impact.:roll:

.....everywhere I look I am seeing some people left and right just putting people down, JUST because they do not agree with their perspective or opinions, or think they have a hard on for a certain person in particular, or whatever the case may be.

If you don't like a certain person or persons.....you do have the right to hit the 'IGNORE' feature....instead of going after them time and time again. Just makes you look bad.

Now back on topic....

I still will wait and see...how this will come out in the next few years.....I did not vote for Obama...but I will give him the benefit of the doubt.

You have a pretty broad definition of "lockstepper".....You accused me of following the party line too. Which party is that exactly since I am an independent????? LOL.

By the way, I corrected your post. Not that I am perfect of course. But I don't comment on the idiocy of other posters either. Even if I think it. :)

My first bolded and colored statement, in the first quote box containing my post, was directed to you.

The second bolded statement. Was not directed at you, but some people. A general statement.

But, since you felt to respond to my comment, and seemingly with a bit of nastiness, I feel I should point out some things.

18 times from the start of the year til March 30th. That's 3 months. Out of the 18 threads, 11 threads have your comments which is directed to a certain person in particular, each comment bordered on verbal assault and slander towards this person. In the other 7 threads, your comments, are crass and uncaring, and rude regarding the topic in discussion.

The way your comments are worded, which to me seems rude, looks like you're verbally abusive and condenscending to others.

You are entitled to your opinion. It does not give you the right however, to say it in a way to make the person or persons involved in a debate on this site, feel inferior.

If that was the case there would be groups of followers, who lock into other people's thinking. I don't see that at all, I see unique people, with different views, expressing themselves, open to debate, without discrimination, put down's, name calling, and certainly noone is going around being nasty with words. My mind is developing, at my own pace, in neutrality. I see both sides, or three sides or four. I choose no side but my own, however, I would never force someone to accept my views, I say my piece and that's it. Now that Obama okayed offshore drilling, I expect his ratings to climb even further. Hmmmm.

Well you would think if he were sincere he would open up drilling in area that wer more likely to be successfu and where the most research has already been done.....

IF he proves sincere I will give him credit for doing it. My prediction, In 2012 NE will be the only area that has been opened and Obama will run on we tried it your way and failed. Feel free to make your own prediction and clip and save this one.
 
People are complete morons to think that just by opening up ofshore exploration and drilling will mean instant oil flow and a reduction in gas prices this year. It'll take several years for something to take effect.

Obama cannot please everyone. I prefer to live without a bitter taste in my mouth so I do not worry about it.

I am not bitter at all. I have a daughter....I will soon have grandchildren. I want them to live in an America that says if you work hard we will get out of your way and let you enjoy the fruits of your labor. If you run on hard times we will help you get going again. An America that believes it's people are good and will come to the aid of those in need. Not an America that believes it's people are without compassion and must be forced to provide for those in need.
