Can deaf people be hypnotized?

This isn't intended to be another one of those posts asking if deaf people pick their noses differently than hearing people LOL. I'm going into hypnotherapy as a career profession and I was wondering how that would work exactly. I've heard of a few cases where people have done stage hypnosis with a deaf crowd but nothing where it was actually used as a way for a person to relieve stress, angziety or anything of that nature. Was wondering if you guys knew of any cases or something like that.
 
Yes. Deaf people can be hypnotized. NIH developed a technique.

I thought there should be a way (since it is a natural state and all) but didn't know for sure how one would go about it. Thanks for the reference as well.
 
If you got to the sites that deal with hypnosis, you will learn how do they do that.
