Hi!

Do all of the vendors :
Medel, Advanced Bionics and Cochlear support bluetooth streaming directly to the processing/microphone unit?

I am worried that maybe with Medel you need some type of neckloop? Experiences?
How does this neckloop communicate with the sound processor?

I believe Advanced Bionics is will be adding the chip that Phonak just introduced. AB & Phonak are owned by the same company.

AB has something in the works but for the time being the ComPilot is being offered with Naida CIs. Cochlear teamed up with Apple for the N7 so no streaming device needed, iPhone, iPad will work directly with the N7's. Med-El, I have no idea.

I have the med el rondo, and i have the blue tooth device also,it works very well ,like for the tv i just place the microphone right by tv and it brings it right to my ears!! I havent used it for the phone, but i have a captioning phone so dont really need it for that! Oh and yes you need the neckloop, for the microphone to connect to it
