Being deaf and lgbtqia

    :)Hex, I have not experienced this specifically but I wanted to just say "hey" and offer support. I met my now-husband while still n college and came out to as bisexual to him < an easier thing for him to understand at the time than other terms; he was actually the second person I came out to> a few months after we met. It was hard but after some discussion he was ok with it. I was in my early 20's. At the time I ID'd as mostly genderqueer. I don't think I had peripheral HL then, but I think I've always had CAPD, though this has never been formally diagnosed. Currently ID as bi or pansexual and hoh-and started having noticeable hearing difference about 8 years ago.
