You know, it seems that the only time Westboro gets any attention is when someone else does a counter-protest. Have you ever seen Westboro's "protests"? There are usually like 4 people there. And they're all in the same family. Not really much of a spectacle.

Those guys show up around here at Arlington Cemetery every so often.

If people would stop counter-protesting them and just ignore them, they would never make the news.

The issue isn't with them making the news, it's that they try to be as rude and disruptive to the actual people they're "protesting" (most often at funerals).
